Whether myth or fact, the legends of the paranormal in Georgia are plentiful. Some of the most haunted places to visit in Atlanta are places of entertainment, making Atlanta a prime candidate for a ghostly vacation.

Haunted Atlanta Destination #1 - Six Flags Visitors to this Atlanta theme park don't have to wait until Fright Fest to experience something spooky. Legend tells that an actor named "Joe" was set to appear in the grand opening performance at the newly-built theme park. On his way to the event, Joe died in a car accident. Employees and guests to the park claim to see his ghost in the theatre balcony, and others claim to hear a disembodied voice singing backstage.

Haunted Atlanta Destination #2 - The Shakespeare Tavern Performers at this Shakespearean theatre tell stories of apparitions taking the shape of small boys in dated clothing, figures on the stage catwalk and other ghostly figures throughout the theatre. They believe the ghost of a woman haunts the women's dressing room, while the small boy made an appearance in the men's dressing room in 1993. Building occupants can also hear voices when the theatre is empty, including one who distinctly gave warning of a fire.

Haunted Atlanta Destination #3 - The Masquerede Night Club The ghosts of this Atlanta night club disturb the musical equipment, even bulky, heavy floor amps. These equipment disturbances remain unsolved to this day, along with cases of structural damages and a building fire. The history of the Masquerade is long, with the building housing a mill, a pizzeria, a movie theatre and now a nightclub. There are no theories as to who these ghosts are, but rumors indicate the possibility of a mill accident and a case of tuberculosis that claimed the lives of many employees.

Haunted Atlanta Destination #4 - Metropolitan Avenue Bridge On the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge, near University Street in Atlanta, many travelers have picked up a female hitchhiker. The girl asks for a ride home, and then disappears upon arrival at her destination. A twist in a tale makes this phenomenon hard to discount. The resident of the girl's "home" is her mother, who is all too familiar with random strangers turning up on her doorstep, claiming to have met her daughter.

OK so this guy i know really wanted to talk to me so i was cool with it so like everyday i would say hey. In Georgia he was DYING to talk 2 me EVERY NIGHT ! and we did but then after 4 weeks i told him i will see him in summer when i come back from Georgia vacation. When i come back he tell me he has a gf so i told him that was cool and i want to meet her so i meet her she's nice and stuff so he is all happy and stuff but when i said hello as usual he will get mad and sign off on IM so one day i got sick of it and asked him R U MY FRIEND OR What ? so he respond back 2 me saying NO Your Annoying so i said R U JOKING and all he said was YOUR WELCOME IT'S THE TRUTH BYE ! so i got MAD and now he HATES ME! He seems to be showing off his gf like if she's THE ONLY GIRL IN THE WORLD ! i don't know what to do with him . i want to be his friend even though he said im annoying HOW CAN I BECOME HIS FRIEND AGAIN ? Would u call me annoying? Should i bring up us talking when i was on Georgia vacation ? What should i do?

I am trying to plan a Romantic getaway for my Boyfriend and me in Dec, for our 1 Year Anniversary. Can anyone tell me of any good, AFFORDABLE, romantic, safe Cabins we could go to for our celebration? Oh, has to have a HOT TUB! Leaving for vacation this Friday morning.... Was wondering if anyone could recommend some fun things to do?? Perhaps some tours, good food, anything interesting and maybe different!!! I'm really interested mostly in Savannah,GA.....as this is the first time for me.. Someone mentioned about a Ghost Tour of a Haunted House?? Anyone ever heard of this?? Well, I'd greatly appreciate any advice .. Thanks so much......
