Tourism in San Francisco:

There are so numerous places to see in San Francisco and a tourist will really get confused where to start. Some may love to use guide book and they prefer to take an organized, guided tour.

Land Tourism

In San Francisco, tourism is mingled with your everyday life. San Franciscans are accustomed to sharing the city’s world famous streets and cable cars with international visitors the year around, and small groups on walking tours are nothing out of the ordinary.

There are lots of sporting venues, restaurants, historic places and so on.

The streets of San Francisco are steep, so sensible walking shoes and a fair amount of stamina are required. Most tours run year-round, rain or shine, and take around 90 minutes to two hours to complete. After your tour ends, reward yourself with cocktails and dinner at one of San Francisco’s biggest tourism draws: its fabulous seafood restaurants.

Bay Cruise Tours

As San Franciso is located in Pacific Ocean, it makes it an ideal place for day cruise. The tourist companies also offer a variety of options and offers to enjoy the city from sea level. They will give you an option 90 minutes sailing cruise which passes by Alcatraz Island and under the Golden Gate Bridge or an hour-long cruise passes Fort Mason, the Marina District, an exclusive yacht club, and Alcatraz. Several guides offer meal cruises, so visitors can enjoy cocktails, dinner, a dinner dance, or brunch from aboard a luxurious yacht in the San Francisco Bay.

Helicopter Tours

Tourists who would like to see the city from air can take a helicopter tour, the bay, and the surrounding neighborhoods. Pilots will also be your guides, describing local landmarks and attractions as they cruise the airspace above the city. Several helicopter tours are destination tours ending with lunch in Napa Valley or Sausalito. Shuttle services are also
available to the tourists.

It is really an outstanding job of the tourism industry in San Francisco because you can see all the beautiful places via Land, Sea and Air Routes which will be really great to enjoy.
