What you should do your best to avoid in trying or doing in Brazil!
Friday, March 12th, 2010    Subscribe To Our FeedThis one maybe one of those helpful travel tips, but this one is a bit different to the norm. This is where things take a different direction, instead of doing things the good old fashioned way, let us decide what is not a good idea to try on your holiday. I don’t want to put the fear into anyone; however it is important to note that some of these things could be specific to you.
First and foremost, do not dress up like your average tourist. This might sound stupid, but the crime rate in Brazil is extremely high, so make sure that you are vigilant. It becomes very easy for a criminal to make a target out of you if you can be easily spotted.
Make sure you DON’T drink the water. Always drink bottled water, do your best to get this instead of the conventional tap water. The water isn’t very pleasant here; in fact it is quite a terrible and will not agree with your stomach at all. If you drink a fair amount of the tap water, you could find yourself in a bathroom holiday!
just make sure you stay near your Tour guide, this will need to be repeated, more people do it than normal. Oh my god you wouldn’t believe how stupid some people are. Try not to be as stupid as to walk off when your on a trip somewhere. Make sure that you keep a book of all the nasty beasts in this country if your going to get lost, and a map, and a compass and maybe a helicopter.
Make sure you are polite, do not be RUDE. When you get given a great piece of advice, like, to treat people as you would like to be treated, then you should really heed their advice. Do not be bolshie or aggressive, you wll than likely find yourself in a situation that could be very difficult to get out of. These people are normally very friendly, so if you treat them with the same respect, you will be given it in return.
Brazil holidays are becoming very popular, just keep in mid the above, even if you are on Luxury holidays. If this isn’t something that you are interested in then I can recommend more relaxing holidays like; Cuba holidays or Egypt holidays.
