Ski Lodging In Park City Utah - Great Places At Great Prices
Park City, Utah has some of the best ski slopes in the country. Skiing can be expensive but it doesn't have to be. Check out these inexpensive accommodation options - great places for a great price!
Chateau Apres Lodge - Located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, only 150 yards from the ski lifts, this inn is basic but comfortable. With 32 rooms, cable TV and maid service and complimentary breakfast, it's a nice place at a great price. They also have dorm rooms to make this even more affordable. You couldn't ask for a better location, as they're not only right next to one resort but also less than 3 miles from two other resorts - Deer Valley and The Canyons.
The lodge is only a 10 minute walk from Park City's main street, where there are numerous shops and eating places. The lodge is also on the free bus route, so if you don't want to walk you don't have to.
They even have a lovely lounge with a big log fire, ideal for relaxing with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate after a hard day's skiing.
Rates begin at $35 for a dorm room, and go up to $100 a night for a private room with bath. For this location, it's a fabulous price.
You can book online at their website at Chateau Apres or call them toll free at 800.357.3556.
Best Western Landmark Inn - Within 35 minutes of Salt Lake airport and minutes away from The Canyons, Park City Mountain Resort, and Deer Valley resorts, this Best Western Inn is in a great location. Tanger Outlet Stores are right next door and it's near the Olympic Winter Sports Park and historic Main Street, so there's plenty nearby to do.
With an indoor pool, hot tub, ping pong tables, exercise equipment and a video game arcade, you can also keep yourself busy in the hotel. There's even a shuttle available to the ski resorts so no need to worry about driving. Complimentary breakfast is included in the price.
They have several Winter Adventure packages at amazing prices, with some of their packages even including free skiing. Prices for rooms start at $68 for special military and government rates and go up to $129 for regular rates.
You can book online at Best Western Landmark Inn or call the Best Western toll free number - 1-800-548-8824.
Park City Peaks- The Park City Peaks is less than 2 miles from historic Main Street and minutes away from the three world-class ski resorts in this area. The hotel has both heated indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, and a dry sauna. High-speed internet access in the rooms, safes, hairdryers and coffee makers mean your vacation is spent in complete comfort and ease. The hotel also has a sports bar and grille where you can have a drink or grab a bite. It's also near to several Sleigh Ride companies so you and your family can take a beautiful evening traditional ride on a sleigh and see the sites of Park City.
Rates begin at $62 and go up to $79. You can book online on their website at Park City Peaks or call them at 1-800-649-5012. I found though that often the rates are cheaper on Travelocity.com.
Lodge at the Mountain - Lovely little condos just minutes away from Park City main street and literally only a few yards away from the slopes, this place is a great deal. With a pool overlooking the mountain and close to the ink rink, after skiing, you can have a relaxing dip or get more exercise on skates.
The units range in size from single rooms to four bedroom condominiums, with each room decorated with pretty pine furniture. They offer several ski packages, and have regular rates starting at $70 for a single room and $440 for a 4 bedroom suite. For $170, you can even get a bedroom with your own spa. All rooms have internet access and many have fireplaces. Underground parking is also available.
You can book online at Lodge at the Mountain or by telephone at 888-PARK-CITY.
These are just four of the budget hotels and motels available in the Park City area. Remember, skiing can be expensive but your accommodation doesn't have to be. All of these hotels are beautifully furnished, have wonderful amenities and are all closely located to both the ski slopes and the town. Have fun and don't break a leg!
